Esthetic and restorative dentistry are excellent investments in an individual’s well-being. We firmly believe that financial considerations should not be an obstacle to obtaining the treatment you desire. We are sensitive to the fact that each patient has different needs and have several payment options available so that treatment is accessible to everyone. All financial discussions and arrangements are kept strictly confidential.

We encourage our patients to be familiar with their dental plans before their appointment in order to eliminate disappointment with insurance payments.

As a courtesy, we are happy to assist you with your plan and manage the paperwork for you. We are happy to offer our patients a pre-estimate of treatment fees, which we will send to your insurance company for confirmation of your coverage. This will enable you to plan your finances before commencing with treatment.

In order to efficiently manage your insurance paperwork we ask that you arrive with your insurance information. We are pleased to discuss fees and payment options with you.

Our team members are qualified to help you if you have any questions.

Annual maximum:  This is the maximum dollar amount of dental coverage your plan will allow in one calendar year.  However, this does not mean that you can use the entire amount on one procedure.

The insurance company designates a partial, predetermined amount they will pay of a given procedure.

Co-Payment or Patient Portion:  This is the “out of Pocket” portion of the treatment fee that is not covered by dental insurance and is your responsiblility.

Basic Coverage: These are basic dental services covered by your insurance company. Examples include x-rays, fillings, extractions, denture repairs and relines but not crowns/bridges and dentures.

Major Coverage: These are major dental services covered by your insurance company which your Denturist/Dentist provides. Examples include crowns/bridges, full and partial dentures.

The Alberta government now provides dental benefits for those seniors whom have applied and are eligible. Eligibility is based on your last years income as per your submitted income tax and may vary from 10% – 100% coverage.
